And yes, there will be no saving seed from the crop grown from said licensed seed no matter patent or not. You can bet that the breeding lines licensed to other seed companies are locked up tight too. The only thing that the patent expiring will allow is other seed companies to put RR technology in their seed, without going through Monsanto, provided they figure out how independant of the licensed Monsanto seed. | |
