Any boiler experts on here?

The picture displayed is obviously not correct for the corn stove that is installed. It was mentioned that one of the pumps is on 24/7 which indicates that there must one part of the hot water supply that is looped around back into the boiler, so there is water in movement throught the boiler all the time. If this is true it wouldn't make any difference where the expansion tank or make up water is located because it is water that is in steady flow.

If the amount of water being heated is too small, it could possibly be that the fire is not reacting quick enough. It could bring or almost be bringing the water to a boil before the flame is cutting off enough. Perhaps setting the cutout to a lower temperature on the boiler would help, or setting the feed rate down on the corn auger, so it builds it fire up slower would provide more control.

The pressure rise is probably normal if the fire is on for too long, or there is not enough flow passing throught the boiler.
