Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | I have converted a few old IH tractors (M-450 etc) to run the power steering off the main hyd pump on the engine. I plumbed an adjustable flow divider in the main pump output to remotes line and connected the power steering to the controlled port on the flow divider. You adjust the flow divider to divert just enough oil for good power steering operation,with the rest available for the remotes. This worked well and eliminated adding another belt driven pump.
