Northeastern Pa. | Thanks for the post, Iowa. It was very thought provoking. My Mother-in-law is the last of the previous generation and she is 93. My wife calls her every morning and I dread the day she doesn't answer the phone. We only live 5 miles from her and see her several times a week but when that day comes it will seem like a 50-mile ride. She has been the glue that has kept my wife's side of the family close. Posts like yours is what I think the Cafe section is all about. Glad you got the alone time in the church basement. | |
