Subject: Killing alfalfa and grass hay land

I would like to know what my options are to date to spray out established alfalfa and meadow brome grass. It is getting late and, has been at the most 10 to 15 degrees C above and lows of -2 C. We farm in Central Sask. any nice spell now has to be taken advantage of.

We have been trying to spray it for a month but have not had condusive weather and have been trying to finish harvest and so on.

Does anyone have any experience with sprsying this out this late in the year.

No better weather is in site and have maybe a couple of nice days left if the wind and cold rainy days stay away.

Also I was wondering if anyone has any experience with cropping into this hay land. It is 9 years old and typically we have poor rainfall and rely on spring moisture for most of our crops.

What would best follow this??? Oilseed, Cereal, Legume
Any info would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks

Gusto,
