The height of the residue managers in controlled by the Clean Sweep box and the UP/DOWN force is controlled by a homemade controller which mimics the operation of the Clean Sweep control box.
The single 12V compressor provides the air supply for both systems. The output from the compressor is literally split with a Tee to feed each system.
Both systems are manually controlled. The Residue Manager height by eyeballing the job. The UP/DOWN force by consulting an Ag Leader ISO down force monitor with sensors on 6 row units. |
