Iowa | Ted, what does your homemade downforce control box consist of? We have just downforce bags but when we got our planter it was simply controlled by an increase or decrease switch and a small pressure gauge mounted inline with the bags and not big enough to see from the tractor. I didn’t like that as small air leaks would mean constantly needing adjustment so we put a manual regulator inline that can be adjusted to maintain a somewhat regular pressure, although it does vary a little, and put a bigger gauge in that is a little more viewable while running. I still wonder if there is a better way so curios to get what your setup is like | |
