SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass! | Chuck WI - 9/4/2023 19:41 We went to see my favorite band today at a Labor Day festival. It was held in an outdoor pavilion that had a roof but no sides. We sat on our lawn chairs just outside the covered area but in the shade, it was sunny and in the 90s.
The inside was filled with picnic tables. A couple sat down at the closest table to us and spent the afternoon smoking. I know we could have moved but there was limited shade and the area was full.
I wouldn’t have a problem if it was a cigarette or two for the 3 hour concert but I would guess it was closer to 10 for both. It was not as if they didn’t know it was offensive to those sitting around them, it was actually like they were flaunting it.
Just wondering if I am being overly sensitive or if I have a legitimate gripe. I didn’t say anything but I was tempted.
Chuck They've almost all went to vaping here. I've got a $100 bill that says that's going to prove to be way worse, on a personal health basis, than the Marlboro Man.
