Ive never heard of it being an issue. I have given one shot bvf or bovishield gold to alot of calves and never seen any wrecks. I have aborted cows giving it to them directly.
If you are truly worried about it I believe if you gave cattlemaster gold and ultrabac 8 you would cover all your bases with killed vaccines.
