Subject: RE: Ferappease in feeder calves?

Northwest Indiana
So I am just a feeder, not a university, so like I said, so as you please. I am just going by what I am seeing. The backgrounder is a good operator and I trust these cattle were straight coming in.

Since by my understanding it has to be breathed in, my theory was alternating calves (ie. doing all even tags) would not work, since they all sniff and rub each other.

Asking me before treatment I would have said the lightweight group would have more BRD vs the heavier ones. Seemed like after the fera wore off, the stress hit them harder.

Edit: I should add, if it works for you, great. I could see a use case for weaning stress. In a feedlot scenario, I am struggling to see it. That being said, I still have 100 doses left I am going to split loads with for another test.
