Yet a single slice of brad has the equivalent of several teaspoons of sugar. Insulin has to force it out of the bloodstream into some other place rather than the bloodstream.
That is the mechanism and the reality. The body is amazing at its ability to withstand abuse. But eventually the abuse, if it is too much for too long, the body can no longer compensate. And our health goes bad.
Simply cutting the abuse back a notch or two would keep a lot of people out of many health problems, in my opinion. My opinion only. I am definitely not a doctor.
