Saronville NE | Chop triticale in the spring. Has worked very well here. 23 it didn't was too cold for too long never got any height in the spring. So was like 6 ton. I'm used to 10-16 ton in spring. Been putting short season corn behind it 105 day. Then pick it make 200-215 bu. But this year I'm trying Milo and going to chop it for silage. Mainly due to seed cost I can save close $100 an acre in seed cost. Carlson talked me into trying it and looks to ton up close to same as corn. | |
