Subject: RE: Post pounders

Western, New York
We have a Shaver HD8, I bought it second hand and have pounded a ton of posts in with it. All Depends on your price range. I welded up and adapter for a loader quick attach for ours and it has worked really well. It will take a few hits on some bigger posts (All of our corners and gates posts are used utility posts) but it will get the job done. But if money is no option the skid steer or mini ex hydraulic pounders are really nice. The shavers pretty much are all intertia driven and can beat up the top of the posts a bit if you are in hard or dry ground
