iowa | My 15" bean planter is a couple bu. better with coulters and no trash wheel. Set them 1" higher than disc opener. Much leveler seed bed and protection for row unit. I plant into corn stalks at an angle and the coulters seem to do a far better job when encountering root balls. The coulters are easier to set and last forever. I see no trash wheel setups "here" for planting soys on 15" rows. | |
