East Central, Nebraska | your problem is not that you are not able to unpair it from the old tablet. if the old tablet is off and not in range you should be able to pair it to the new one.
a lot of times a person will try pairing it to other devices to get going and overlook that one of those other devices are in range. easiest thing to do is to take it out in the field, shut off bluetooth on any phone or tablets within range, or leave them far away would be a better idea, then plug the beacon in after having it unhooked from power for 5+ minutes and it will likely pair then. if you still cannot pair i would then try pairing it to a phone and making sure the beacon is not damaged. remember that if it already has three lights lit up then it is likely paired to something else. as always it is possible that your new android tablet is not working correctly, also remember after connecting to an android tablet you need to go in to the app and select the beacon. if i remember correctly they dont actually ever show connected like an ipad, just maybe paired. it was screwy. | |
