NE IL | You are correct, they were the first to switch to filling units by seed count. At the time it made perfect sense, 130K was about 50lbs. Not sure why everyone else decided 140K was the right number to use. I'm sure its mostly pride than anything but you wonder why they haven't switched to 140K to be apples to apples with literally every other competitor. Maybe everyone else is getting better deals than me but my Becks soybeans were similarly priced as others, which in the end costs me about an extra $5/acre to plant. | |
