MoHawk II is a full brother to the now deceased original MoHawk and recently came off test. The group of bulls include Angus, Charolais and Simmental and were fed at Werner feed efficiency testing center in Diagonal IA. MoHawk II finished in second place in 4 different categories of feed efficiency, cost of gain, residual average daily gain, residual feed intake (RFI) and feed conversion.
His cost of gain to put on 600 lbs. to compare with the next to last bull was $335.47 to $581.12. So, almost $250 difference.
