I'm not sure what the exact ration is for the bulls but no doubt a silage and hay base. As far as the cows, I'm in the northern edge of fescue country and Werner's are about 60 miles southwest of me so heavy fescue there too. It takes fescue tolerant cows to survive here and I've wondered if that is somehow related to feed efficiency as my bulls usually do well in the feed efficiency tests.
