Mid Michigan | I totally agree with Mainefarmer that the owner of the business has waaayyyy more stress than the employee. I have a trememdous amount of admiration for people that can handle the stress of it all. I've said that many times when I go to work. When the heating system in the buildning breaks, it's not my problem, when there is a problem in the restrooms with the toilets, it's not my problem, if the roof leaks, machines go down etc. If you own an expensive business and a piece of equipment like a tractor or a combine etc goes down it's a tremendous amount of burden on the owner. Employee gets to go home and mow his lawn and watch a baseball game. When they come to work monday it's just another day. Risk has great rewards but most of us are not cut out to handle the risk to become an ultra successful business owner. | |
