| Thanks for the idea, I'm researching it now as I was unaware of this test. I assume when you said "free" concerning the Aluminum in my soil, that we don't know if this aluminum is actually attached to colloids or if it is just freely sitting in the soil? The problem happens with high ph calcium carbonate soils. Hence you can't get a accurate CEC unless its all flushed out and replaced to get a more accurate CEC. I'm wondering if extremely high aluminum in the top 6" of soil is extremely rare and thus the issue I have is not typically a concern for most labs. Continue my research. Thanks | |
