| if someone has a son or daughter who wants to farm, the dad will turn into a beserker to obtain the acres to make that happen. trouble of it is, grain farming is fun and a 85 yr old can do it, a john deere saleman told me by 2030 there will be fully autonomous operations, the pieces are all there by 2030 it comes together if you want and can afford it, dont know if i would call that fun. i dont want more acres at the expense of putting what i already own at risk, its no longer a penny ante buy in, every 50 acres is $1 million, pretty rare air. | |
