| well Clay that was 15K bushels, was that all of your insured bushels?
did you scale up sell after that?
did that one sale, and the perceived mistake stop you from selling any more bushels?
With crop insure fall Harvest price you have a good window to get any multitudes of actions that would have protected you on those sold bushels, did you use any of them.
Not sure what your answers to these question are but one needs to understand that crop Insurance is not a buy it and forget it type policy it is a living and breathing policy that needs plenty of attention. Many simply don't want to expend the energy during harvest to manage it, but it is time and effort well spent.
