It’ll be interesting to see how acres settle out as we move through spring. For me, as it currently sits, my corn acres were manured and commercially fertilized last fall for the most part. I do have some more manure going on likely this coming week for the rest of silage acres. So, by and large, the only change I could make is more corn acres vs beans; however, it would be extremely unlikely I’d make that switch. It’s very rare I make spring changes. Will that be the case in other areas, especially if they haven’t been dry? I’d be interested to hear from folks on here if they make many spring crop planting changes. (Folks?) Last year I was heavy corn, roughly 3/4 of my acres. This year I’m closer to 50/50 corn and beans due to rotating out multi year silage CoC to rest.
