What probably gets difficult for animals is there are less producers, so the deviation can be greater. I’d have to see all the methodology on the grain side to understand what all can affect that data. Would I be surprised if they tweak things to fit a narrative? Not really, which is sad.
It’s certainly not perfect, but they don’t claim it to be either.
