We Breed most of the heifers to sexed semen 2-3 times max, then to a beef bull. Almost all the cows get bred to beef breeds. Conception rates have gone way up, so if breeding to holsteins, we would just be making more milkers and increasing the future milk supply. We are as big as we want now, so no sense in making more heifers than we can use.
