Central MN | I had that happen to me 4-5yrs ago after correcting a torsion. Felt pretty useless as I watched it die. Stayed alive for probably 3 to maybe 5 minutes.
I have since heard that there is an acupuncture technique where you can use a 20 or 22 Guage needle into I believe the nasal septum (split between the nose) that is supposed help. I haven't had a another instance to try it though. Generally I do the straw in the nose trick.
