Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
The above is correct. We use the low limit when spraying with our planter. It can also be used with our sprayer.

The default low limit is zero but can be changed. If the planter was travelling slowly, the tips might "check off" when slowing down to go around obstacles or upon initial startup. By setting a low limit we may be over applying for a bit but generally that is more desirable than having the tips checkoff. The Ag Leader display will warn you when this is happening so you are aware of the situation but when you speed back up, the warning will stop and your rate applied will be back to the target rate.

The value to use for a low limit based on flow can be determined by trial & error or by doing a little math. The math approach involves checking a tip chart. Find your tip and the minimum pressure you feel would give a decent pattern and not check off. The chart will show the volume/minute required. Multiply that value by the total number of tips being used. This is the minimum flow rate for this rig. Enter this value into the display for the low limit.
