| All I know to say is pray hard, pray often, love completely without any strings attached or unforgiveness. Tell and show everyone that matters to you how much they really do. Once the opportunity is gone, there is no backing up.
I tried to type up more what it was like to lose mom to cancer but didn't get very far. Still pretty hard after witnessing all she went through. The final week she was sent home from an all too familiar hospital to die at home, was so agonizingly painful. Cried my eyes out before, during, and after I held one hand as she took and exhaled the last breath. Still hurts. My sister held mom's other hand. I left and couldn't stand to watch when the funeral home people came to pick her up. Ya it's a part of life none of us can escape. Just never would have ever thought cancer would take the life of a woman who never drank, never smoked, never did drugs, never used tobacco products of any kind and never said a curse word. | |
