Subject: RE: How does one deal with cancer

West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12
Dad made the decision to forego further treatment after removing part of a cancerous brain tumor and initial after surgery treatment failed. He lived what time he had left as comfortably as possible surrounded by family and friends who loved him, supported his decision, and still miss him every day. It was his decision to make, my decision will be the same if I ever have the same decision to make.

My thoughts were/are that although dad's remaining time was short, at least dad had time to say goodbye and leave this life comfortably knowing he was loved and supported by family and friends, which was a lot more time than many people (like my big sister) get when they leave this life (and family and friends who love them) suddenly and alone through no fault/decision of their own.

Although hard to accept, fully support your wife's decision, whatever her decision is.
