Subject: RE: How does one deal with cancer

SW Kansas
Back in 2011 my wife who was 33 at the time was diagnosed with MS by our local doctor, so we were referred to a specialist in Oklahoma City. Down there they put her through a series of coordination tests and she had a scan that revealed lesions on her spinal column at the base of her neck. I can still remember that day sitting with the doctor and being told that she will be in a wheel chair before too long and the best we could do is take the latest and greatest medicine to slow the decline. Words cannot describe the feeling I had, but others who have had life changing doctor visits know what I am talking about. The medication was going to cost around $5k a month, which I figured would be covered by our Blue Cross and Blue Shield health insurance. When we got back home we called BCBS and they said since we didn't have a prescription plan on our coverage, the medication would not be covered. I had no way of ever being able to afford $5k a month. We didn't know what to do. Looking back on it now, I can see God's hand in our lives. We both had accepted Christ as our savior the year before, so we felt that the only option was to pray. We did not receive an answer to prayer at that time, and not knowing what direction to take next, we decided to seek a second opinion in Kansas City. Same tests and scan, but this time the prognosis was worse. Not only was she going to be wheelchair bound, the specialists opinion was that due to the location of lesions, she more than likely would be a quadriplegic. We both felt hopeless, but it was at that time that we received our answer to prayer. A few weeks later we were invited to supper by another couple that we went to church with. We knew that he had some health issues, but didn't know to what extent. It turns out he had also been diagnosed with a disease similar to MS. He had been to several specialists, even going to the mayo clinic, but he continued to get worse. It was getting to a point, where he didn't know how much longer he could farm. A friend of his recommeded them to a natural chiroprator in TX, where he started to learn how to heal his body with food. ( I was very sceptical about this since I had been to several chiropractors in my life and thought all they could do was adjust backs, which it turns out most aren't even good at that). He had been going down there every month or so for over a year and had seen drastic improvement in his health. After we got home that night my wife was ready to try the natural way, but I was not on board. I thought the last thing we needed was to spend money on a snake oil salesman that didn't accept any health insurance for payment. After all, how could someone who does not have a medical license know anything about healing people? After thinking about it for a few days, I decided that at this point why not try it. We were busy in the field at the time, so she flew down to TX on her own for the appointment. When she got home the next day, her whole attitude about her health had done a 180. She came back telling me these crazy ideas about how gluten and sugar are bad for our body, and how a store bought multivitemin is garbage, and how live blood cell analysis can tell so much about the body. I not seen her so happy and optimistic about the future in months. I was still not on board. I didn't say anything to her at the time, but I thought this guy has got to be the greatest con man of all time. She had another appointment the following month, this time I drove us there to see this guy for myself. It was an hour appointment. He started off by taking a small blood sample of her's and putting it under the microscope. The microscope is hooked to computer monitor so we see what he sees. He zooms in on the individual cells and starts explaining why the cells have different shapes and why some have different shades of color to them. Also elxplains the other stuff floating around in the blood (undigested food, strains of yeast, and other stuff). He then goes on to talk about diet and the right kind of supplements she needed to take at the time. That all took about 40 minutes. By this time my head is spinning. I have never heard of anyone talk like this before. We then go in to the room to get adjusted. He starts explaining how he is going to properly align the C1 and how that is key having your body aligned correctly (To this day I have never met anyone else that knows how to do it correctly, and we have been to several chiropractors in our area, just to try to find someone closer for adjustments). I will fast forward to the present day since I have taken up enough of your time. What I have just described is what I call step 1 in what we learned about health. My wife is now 46 and looks better than most other women around here that are 36 years old. Yes, she does still have a few lingering affects of MS, but if you followed her around for a day, you would never know it. She has one of those watches that tell you how many miles she has walked in a day, and although she does not walk for exercise, with her normal routine in the garden and doing housework, and cooking for our family she averages around 3-4 miles a day. It has not been an easy journey. There have been many valleys and mountains we have gone through with her health, but God has led us this whole way, although there are times when we can't see it. We still go down to TX once or twice a year for an appointment. We have also started working with another natural chiropractor that has a slightly different take on health. Having 2 different natural opinions has worked great for us. We both see the world very differently now than we did back then. There are lifestyle sacrifices that have to be made if you want to be healthy. There are other natural chiropractors around the country that can help you, but beware, many are snake oil salesmen. Also, https://thetruthaboutcancer.com/ is a website that helped my wife learn more about health than any other website. We have never had any interaction with the people that run the site, but she has listed to countless numbers of their podcasts. She knows way more than I do and I would put her knowledge about health up against any traditional doctor. I hope this helps you and your wife in some way. God bless.
