nw NC
All my tractors are late 1960's and have no method of operating lighting on any trailing equipment. (Okay with me as tractors and equipment rarely ever need to be on a highway). If modern equipment has flashing lights on the rear of them, what are the colors of those lights? I would think that caution/warning lights are or should be amber. Turn signals and brake lights on cars and trucks are always red on the rear (amber on front of vehicle). If those flashing lights on trailed farm equipment is amber color only , then there is the reason following motorists could be confused or never notice the change in flashing to solid pattern. Warning/caution lights on rear should be amber and do nothing but flash on and off. There should be red turn signal indicator lights and possibly red lights indicating braking/slowing to stop also.
