Actually USPS just came out with a new parcel rate that undercuts UPS, so they will be getting more package business. Just got this info from our postmaster as well as my cousin who's my UPS driver.
They can undercut UPS because UPS actually delivers packages where half the time USPS just puts a note in the mailbox that says there’s a package for you to pick up in town. If I wanted to pick stuff up in town I wouldn’t have ordered it to be delivered and paid the freight.
