But...none of those pkg carriers come to your house without reason. Our mailman does and has forever, come by our mailboxes whether we have anything to be delivered to us or not. If we put the "flag" up on the mailbox, he will stop & take the mail, even though there may be nothing (which only happens 1% of the time) for him to deliver. So, he's stopping regardless.

I don't know of any of the pkg carriers that routinely stop at every box out in the country, or in towns with mailboxes on a post or on the side of the house.

I appreciate the rural deliveries of packages by UPS, FedEx, and others, but I don't see them stopping at the mailbox every day @ 11:15 a.m.....here.
