Subject: RE: Push button lift switch for Ag Leader/Precision Planting

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
The switch shown above is the exact switch I used with my first planter that needed one. It worked fine but was damaged by fertilizer which happened to be close to its location. I have seen that style of switch mounted on a magnetic base and just slapped on the frame. Easily mounted, moved or adjusted if needed.

The switch pictured is a SPDT type meaning there are three screw terminals under the cover. They are labelled Common, Normally Open and Normally Closed. You will use the Common and one of the other two. The one to use depends on if the antenna gets deflected when the planter is raised or is it deflected when the planter is lowered.

One will be correct, using the other will be backwards as far as planting/not planting. With an Ag Leader switch of this style they wire in two sets of pig tail connectors. You try one and test it. If the action is backwards unplug that stub and use the other one.
