| We had this exact scenario in our 485. The rotary switch wasn’t getting power so I pulled 12v from somewhere else to make it work. It’s been a couple of years but if I remember correctly, it was a flat, maybe white connector with 8 or so pins(I could be totally off on this part). It’s a very good possibility it was a road lockout circuit issue, I did some testing but didn’t figure it out. It was in season and this got me going the fastest. The road lockout no longer works but the lights suck so bad on these Steigers, it’s kind of nice. When we’re on the highway we use the road lights as intended but if we’re on an empty gravel road at midnight, we turn on the lights for vision and still have the flashers just in case. If we meet some one, we turn the field lights back off. | |
