I wonder how much of that $6.29 goes to the egg farmer? Do chickens that lay organic eggs have a history of no antibiotics ever? When we had chickens to sell eggs commercially over 30 yrs ago we raised the chicks on medicated feed/water for a few weeks. Then free range until the pullets started laying. Then put in confinement in the big chicken house after that.
