I would suspect the "vegetarian" reference means they were not fed bone meal or other animal byproducts as feed. Yes, I think a lot of "organic" is marketing. But it has become a little more important to us because my wife is watching her diet to see if we can work out some health problems. We have switched to milk labeled hormone free ... which usually means it says organic on the label. Same for meats. unless it is labeled "free" in some way we have to assume it may contain anything. Has it helped? Time will tell. But she has been doing it a month or so and feels better than she has for a long time. I'm not advocating anything. But there is a market if a producer wants to pursue it.
