MW ON | Not wishing to offend, I will offer my two cents into the situation.
Might I suggest that the amount of input you have in the meeting with the accountant, be directly in proportion to the amount of time and effort you have contributed to the farming operation thus far. Your in-laws will appreciate that, afterall, it is "their" farm.
And yes, find out what your role will be in this business and give it all you've got. Your hubby needs your support. Good luck.
