Subject: I am partial to bite size steak.

Little River, TX
My harvesting scheduling and pressures are different.

When I was flying for the AF we bought Flight Lunches, really a box lunch. There would be a carton of milk and a carton of juice, some candy, as well as a couple of sandwiches, or my favorite bite sized steak in a foil pack. The ultimate in a finger snack.
I could also stick a bite sized piece under an oxygen mask. Something not possible with a sandwich.
You could stick a straw under the mask to drink the milk or juice and the candy hit the spot.
I knew a pilot called Jelly Bean. During refueling. he had a plastic bowl of jelly beans on the console right behind the throttles. He could reach down and grab a jelly bean and stick it in his mouth, under the Oxygen Mask while hooked up to the tanker for a large off load. Never ate the things except during refueling.
