SW Saskatchewan | Guess I should have been more explicit- I am talking business contacts where it is important (ie elevator contract or part in stock). I expect these businesses to have a system of customer contact that will "handshake"" the communication and instantly verify reception - something like "hello".
My friends and I will talk at the post office, elevator, local co-op or wherever. The "wet morning chat" is informal and if no answer in 2 or 3 rings, I'm pretty certain my friend has found something better to do that morning.
Hope things are flying high in Kansas. | |
