Are you planting Palaton? I've planted some Palaton with Alfalfa, pretty good stuff, and nothing like the common Reed Canarygrass. When we did ours I beleive I seeded the Alfalfa with the main box and the Reed with the small seed attachment. Mixed the Reed with Lorsban and that worked out. O.K.
