The ground we farm around here is everything from table top flat to rolling hills. We have the majority of our acres irrigated, mainly by center pivots but still have 900-1000 acres furrow watered. Another reason for our thinking of changing to 30s is that green beans grown in this area are best planted on a single 30" row. Also next year 2/3rds to 3/4ths of our acres will be planted in corn. Twin row corn has been tried in our area and does nothing to increase yeilds although i would like to try it for myself.
