Liming to a pH near 7 is extremely wasteful for the grain crops grown in this part of the world. Most of our crops (wheat, soybeans, corn, milo, etc) barely respond to liming at pH 4.7 - 5.5. Liming to anywhere near 6 is just silly -- all it will do is screw up your zinc availability.
