Subject: Milo guards

For the first time in over 20 years, I plan to harvest milo with a 920 flex head. I have been using a row crop head. Before the row crop head I used milo guards on the old Gleaner head. Is this necessary on the 920, or is it just more expense and bother to install and remove after the milo harvest?
