Subject: RE: Milo guards

Hoisington, KS
We bought a 925 flex head for our beans this fall and have also cut milo with it as is. We also have a 930 rigid that we put the richardson milo guards on our other combine. The milo guards definitely save a lot more heads from falling on the ground. On the flex head, the milo heads build up on the edges and then you start knocking a lot of milo down. Then all those heads feed in all at once and the combines gets to grunting. Maybe one set of guards on each end would help.
