Beresford SD | We had a set of Firestones do that for a while, mainly pulling loaded grain wagons at 13 mph. I sent email to Firestone told them what we were doing, tire details, tractor size, wagon load, they replied with pressure setting. It helped quite a bit, the pressure was higher than what the tractor operator's manual called for, though. Some years later one tire began to leak, found a small crack developing on the inside of the tire. It still had some warranty left so I bought a replacement same size, brand, and tread style. We still do the same hauling with that tractor it does not bounce anymore, so I think it was that tire. | |
