| I'm at a point I need to do some work on my diesel pickup and it's going to have to wait until spring. I am going to go back to a gas pickup. Paying 50 or more cents for diesel than gas and getting the same mileage doesn't make any sense, and it's probably going to get worse. What king of mileage can I expect from a F150 with either a 5.4 or 4.6 engine with an automatic transmission and 4 wheel drive. It's going to get mostly road miles, if I neet to pull a trailer I always have the other pickup. Would take a serious look at a 5 speed but most of them have the cheap cab package's. What I'm looking at is 97's up to 2002's. I don't think they have made any changes to the cabs and motors since 97 but I may be wrong. | |
