Bill,

Which gear slipped? The inner gear or the bigger outer gear? I would have thought the woodruff key would have been sheared in the process. I have never heard of that, but that doesn't really mean anything. The cam gear removal process calls for a ten ton press. Seems hard to believe that it would slip. Sounds like it would be a tough trouble shoot at least the first time encountering that problem.

Edit: What do you suppose caused it to slip?
