The big outer gear. The key to finding that there is a problem is finding the inj pump out of time for no known reason. I had to look quite a while before I found it the first time. If you pull the timing cover on the right side front of engine you will find the timing mark on a tooth and near that mark where the big outer gear is pressed on the inner gear you will find the index or register mark. As for what caused it to slip I have not figured it out yet, I did press one of the old gears off that I replaced and it was not at all hard to press off the inner gear, funny thing is it is the same gear an all of the 466 engines.
