Subject: Costs

NC Kansas
Sounds good you are getting a vehicle and he's offering the tools and box. Here in NC Kansas, farm employees are getting rare. All of those items will be a deduction for him. He can list them as assets and depreciate them out. Lifetime warranty tools don't depreciate, according to my insurance a few years back when they were stolen. I got full new market value for 10 year old tools.

He values you as an employee and wants to "make your life at work better and more efficient." Having someone that knows how to use the tools is a great tool in itself and your employer sees it. Over the past years you have worked for him and will continue to, you will save him quite a few $$ in having someone else (mechanic) do the work, not to mention the downtime. With the current market prices, he sees it is a good time to do this.

Take the list with prices to him and have him OK them. I'd take an "optional" list also. Gas powered Air Compressor and a few air tools too?
